There's also a shot of her zipping through her new tunnel - its way too ridiculously long and hardly fits in our yard but she loves it - I'm going to try and chop it in half because two 5 metre tunnels will be much more fun than this one giant one.
And heres a couple more birthday pictures - we had to wait for Ben to come home before she had her cake of course, so thats why we didn't but these pictures in the last post. It's a veal muffin with cream cheese topping, she went nuts for it!
well done on the 'speak', now you just need to put a word with it! I need to try to get Snoopy to speak, she barely barks tho unless she wants to play. I taught my parents dog Toby to speak- only because I was told by a dog trainer that I couldn't teach a cocker spaniel anything. hehe!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday pepper! Lucky to have a nice cake like this!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a tasty cake Pepper! And well done on learning how to "speak". Alot of the Mobility Dogs Laura trains have learnt the command "speak" by blowing in the faces to actaully get them to bark.
ReplyDeleteOnce you have got speak you'll have to put diferent vocalising on cue, like grumbling and howling :p I(lexi) can "talk"(grumble) on cue, and am learning to howl on cue.
You are so lucky to have such and awesome tunnel, you were so quick to go through it we barely saw you :p
Licks and lots of slobber,
Lexi and Jasper the Danes
Pepper's speak is one of the cutest things I have ever seen!!!!! Good job!
ReplyDeleteThat is a super long tunnel - I'd be afraid to go in there because what if I couldn't find my way out?

i did the blow on the face to Kaha and all i got was a wet slobbery lick in the face... he likes it!! what a werido! did you make/bake the muffin youself? sounds like a very yummy treat!
ReplyDeletecute new trick!
ReplyDeletePepper's bark is so cute unlike mine! Your birthday cake looks so yummy that my Mum has promised me that she would get my birthday cake from the same shop!
ReplyDeleteShe has also promised me that she would contact you to arrange another play date when she has a day free. I can't wait!
Oh Pepper!! VEAL MUFFIN!!! I'm drooling just thinking about it! And CREAM CHEESE too!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on learning to "speak" - ha! ha! at least your cue is better than mine: I'm so quiet that Hsin-Yi also had to work really hard to get me to bark - the only thing that would set me off was the vacuum cleaner!! I would bark and pounce on it whenever it came out. Hsin-Yi has finally got it on voice command but the problem is I have learned all the other associated behaviours as well - so now when she asks me to "speak", I have to also bounce up and down and pounce on the ground before I can bark!! :-)
Slobbers,
