Pepper finally cottoned on to how to limp today, sort of, only getting one step at a time, occassional flying leaps and not too much forward movement but at least she gets the concept!
yay!!!! Limping is really hard and I still don't completely have it with Vito, or Lance's other foot. Pepper is trying so hard and now that she has that one step you'll get the others much faster! With Vito, and Lance's right leg, I used my hand like you're doing but found it was easier to be in front of them instead of at their side. When I first taught this to Lance last year I used his leash as support but so that he could still step down if he wanted to.

That's fantastic progress on limp! It's such a difficult trick - we have been working on it for a long time and still I can't do as well as Pepper!
